“More than 300 Tigrayans killed or injured in drone strikes”
Over the past 10 days, more than 300 Tigrayans have been killed or injured in drone strikes carried out by Abiy and his followers against residents of the Northwestern Zone and internally displaced people from Western Tigray.
These expansionist invading forces have repeatedly carried out drone strikes in the areas of Adi Daero, Endabaguna, Mai Tsebri, Dedebit, Shire, and Adi Awala, targeting civilian residential areas, refugee camps, and flour mills. As a result, damage has been inflicted on civilian property and lives.
The Chief Administrator of the Northwestern Zone, Mr. Teklay Gebremedhin, stated that these attacks are a continuation of the ongoing genocide being perpetrated against the people of Tigray.
He therefore urged the people of Tigray to recognize that the only way to escape the siege and blockade imposed upon them—and, above all, the drone strikes—is through their own determination and efforts. He called on them to strengthen and continue the struggle they have already begun.
